Angelina Jolie and Sylvester Stallone 'almost exactly the same'

 Today, with the icons of combat moves and kick-ass good model looks stunning, it is a wonder Angelina Jolie does not compare with Sylvester Stallone, more often.

Ok, well maybe not a huge surprise, but the director of The Expendables 2 Simon West, who has worked with the two mega star says they are "almost exactly the same thing" and not even think he was joking.

Simon - who was at the Leicester Square premiere of action film last night - he also directed Angelina in 2001, Tomb Raider, Lara Croft as the protagonist.

Asked about the similarities between Angelina and Rocky legend Sly, Simon said: "It 's almost exactly the same - it's incredible.

"He was so driven and so difficult in itself, brave and do all the tricks and the same process. Could hold her own with one of these guys."

Sly joined his co-star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jason Statham on the red carpet last night for the British premiere of action film.

Also present was at Chelsea and Hull Mick Towie Cheska Norcross.

The world's fastest man Usain Bolt also an aspect, but it was late so we had to run down the red carpet at the last minute - no joke - to have a snapshot with his "actor Favorites" Jason, who has also invited to attend the after party sponsored by Ciroc Vodka.

Expendables 1 is available on Netflix and Expendables 2 will be available on Netflix in the UK and Ireland in mid-2013 before its television availability.
